Tatting up a storm.

I am busy tatting up a storm before I have to take a break for some weeks where I will not be able to tat. I am working on something I hope to finish on Sunday but here is the latest finished tatting.

It is another motif from the Spitzen-Kreationen book, a corner of a tablecloth from that book. I thought it was an intersting shape and it worked well in my opinion. Right now I tat mostly in white, I can not decide what colours to use.

What a beautiful piece! I may have to look in to these books!

The motif you tatted is so lovely. I like tatting in white. I've tatted a lot in white and ecru. Honestly, the ecru (off-white) is the only color I use around the house. I only seem to tat bookmarks and small motifs in other colors.

Ecru and white are also my preferred choices for doilies that I am going to put on my dark furniture. Very elegant. And since I can never, ever, make up my mind about colours, it's also the safest choice! I like using colours for my hanky edgings.
I hope it won't be long before you are able to tat again, Susanne, and you can use the time to pore through all your books.
